James EVERETT to John EVERETT

This Indenture made this third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight, Between James Everett of Wilson County and state of Tennessee of the one part, and John Everett Junior of the county and state aforesaid. ______ that the said James Everett for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said John Everett the cost whereof is hereby acknowledged that and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, align, wherefore and confirms unto the said John Everett Junior his heirs and assigns forever. A certain tract or parcel of Land. In Wilson County aforesaid on the waters of stones river being part of a tract originally granted to Col. Robert Hays. Beginning for the aforesaid part at a dogwood standing at the end of the fourth line of His whole tract and running west one hundred and fifty and one third poles to a mulberry, then South three hundred and forty one and one-half poles to a stake, then east one hundred fifty and one-third poles to a stake then north to the end of the third line of the whole tract and then to the Beginning. Containing three hundred and twenty acres to have and to hold the above granted premises with the ____________ and every part thereof unto him the said John Everett his heirs and assigns forever. And the said James Everett for himself his heirs, executor and administrators doth hereby convenant, grant, and agree to _________ with the said John Everett his heirs and assigns that he will warrant and defend the above mentioned land and premises against all persons or person claiming from _____ under him the said James Everett his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns or any of them. Inwitness whereof the said James Everett doth hereunto set his hand and affix his seal the day and year above.

* Note:  I am well aware that Stones River is not in Wilson Co. All the property that John Everett, Jr. owned (that I am aware of) in Wilson Co. was on Cedar Creek and the Cumberland River. It could be one of three things: 
1. A mistake. (Not Likely)
2. The tract of land referred to began at the Stones and went all the way into Wilson Co.
3. The county lines have moved through the years.
