Received of Thomas E. Everett nine hundred dollars in full payment of a negro woman by the name of Lucinda about thirty five years of age and child Hatton three years old both dark complection and slaves for life. I also warrant the right of title of said negroes free from the lawful claimes of each and every person whatever. Given under my hand and seal.
