being John DONELSONs corner running West one hundred and eighty one and a
half poles to an Iron wood & Elm thence south two hundred & eighty two and a
half poles to a hickory, thence East one hundred eighty one and a half poles
to a stake, thence North two hundred Eighty two and a half poles to the
beginning so as to include three hundred and twenty acres of land it being
part of a tract of land granted to Thomas BURGESS from the State of North
Carolina as his claim of head right No. 830 Issued the 17th November 1792 and
conveyed from BURGESS to Alsey EDNEY & from EDNEY to said Jesse SMITH...."
