In the name of God! I, William Smith Webb considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound and mind and memory, blessed be the Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say: first I want my body buried in a Christian like manner, then I want all my just debts paid, then in the first place I give and bequeath unto my youngest son William Smith Webb two hundred and sixty acres of land, where he now lives, being the place where John Armfield family lived, sold by a Decree of the Circuit Court of Sumner County, to make him equal with my older sons. I also give and bequeath unto my sons and daughters, Elizabeth Griffith, Samuel Webb, Ann Burnet, Armstead Webb, Joseph Webb, Nancy Latimer and William Smith Webb the balance of all my land, two negroes, Milly and Thornton, my household and kitchen furniture of every kind, my farming utensils, and stock of every kind, and everything appertaining or in wise belonging to me, to be sold, and equally divided between my above named sons and daughters. I hereby appoint my two sons Samuel Webb and Armstead Webb sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In Witness whereof, I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal
