I, T. L. S. Perdue of 15th District of Sumner County Tenn. being of sound mind and memory do make and publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament to wit;

1st. All my just debts and funeral expenses shall be fully paid first.

2nd. After having given my children J. A. and R. S. Perdue and Nancy E. E. Shunnon full three fourths of my estate and as I have deeded R. S. Perdue my real estate, He R. S. Perdue is to pay S. Cantrell one hundred dollars it being a debt I was security for his brother T. F. Perdue dec'd. Also he is to pay his sister Nancy E. E. Shunnon, Two Hundred dollars to make her equal with the others, one hundred dollars to be paid Jany. 1st 1897 and one hundred dollars to be paid Jany. 1st 1898

As I have given my son J. A. Perdue his full share of my estate, he, J. A. Perdue is to get no more from from (rpt) my estate.

3rd. I further will and bequeath to my wife L. C. Perdue all my personal property including all my stock, household and kitchen furniture, wagon, buggy, harness and gear of all kinds, farming utensils and all the machinery and money, notes and accounts and all the supplies on hand at that time and have the right to dispose of said property in any way she may think proper.

4th. I nominate and appoint my wife L. C. Perdue to be the Executor (Executrix) of this my last will and testament and that she act as such without being required to give bond.

In witness whereof I hereto set my hand and seal this the 30th day of May 1895.

A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of T.L.S. Perdue dec'd. was this day produced in open Court for probate when the same was duly proven by the oaths of R.C. Searcy & T.W. Wright the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered recorded & filed as the last Will & Testament of said T.L.S. Perdue dec'd.
