I, Jacob Link of Sumner County and State of Tennessee being of sound disposeing (sic) mind doe (sic) this 22nd. day of March in the yere (sic) of our Lord, one-thousand eight hundred and seventy nine publish this my last Will and Testament.

First I lieve (sic) to my Wife Jane Link the Tract of land on which we now live as surveyed and plotted by Duglass during her life time with all the stock horses cattle and hogs and all farm tools all geaue (?) other feed. Also all the household and Kitchen furnature (sic) also the money and nots (sic) she holds all the above property that she ma (sic) not youse (sic) for her suport (sic) to be sold after her death to the best advantage excep (sic) 100 square poles including the present grave yard beginning at a rock on the Northeast thence West 10 poles, thence North 10 poles, thence East 10 poles to the beginning, also a pass way to the above described land as a buring (sic) free from the claims of all persons whomsoever for ever.

After my death my Executors ma (sic) sell the land Known as the Hall land alls (sic) all my tools lumber and wagons if any be on hand allso (sic) devide (sic) any expenses collect any money dew (sic) to me and divide the same eaquel (sic) as hereafter stated. I allso (sic) bequeth (sic) to my great grandeaugter (sic) Twenty five dollars to be payed (sic) to her at Twelve years of age . Susana Johnson which shall bee (sic) her part of my property, the balance to my six sons in case of the deth (sic) of either of them to ther (sic) children all to be eaquel (sic) Namely [pg 486] William N. Link, Martin Link, John F. Link, Christian Link, James M. Link, Jacob W. Link.

I appoint Martin Link and Christian Link to be my Executors who shall have power to sell all the property and deed the same allso (sic) ma (sic) bid themselves sell personal property and real estate on such time and terms as they ma (sic) think best after making all collections and paying all just expeses (sic), divide as above stated.

A paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Jacob Link deceased was this day produced in open Court for probate when the same was duly proven by the oaths of Charles Wilkerson and France Harden the subscribing witnesses thereto when the same was ordered recorded as said last Will and Testament of Jacob Link deceased and Martin Link and Christian Link being named in the said Will as the Executors thereof appeared in open Court and accepted said appointment and in open Court together with their sureties J. M. Link and J. W. Link entered into bond payable to the State of Tennessee in the penal sum of Three Thousand Dollars conditioned as the law directs when they as said Executors were duly qualified and Letters Testamentary ordered issued to them.
