In the name of God Amen: I William Beakly of Sumner County and state of Tennessee having labored under and ___ of health for a considerable length of time, but of sound mind memory blessed be to God....

I give and bequeath unto my tow sons John Beakly and William Beakly the plantation whereon I last dwelt containing fifty acres more or less . . . bequeath to my eldest daughter Sally Beakly the sum of twenty dollars cash to be paid out of the moneys ___ the sale of my personal property . . . coming to the age of maturity to her, her heirs . . . I also give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Beakly . . . I also give and bequeath unto my daughter Betsy Beakly to sum of twenty dollars cash to be paid to her on her coming to the age of maturity....my just debts and funeral expenses are paid and discharged I desire ___ be equally divided between my three daughters . . . except the rents and profits of the land before bequeathed . . . I appoint David Shelby Executor of this my last will and Testament . . . set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty seventh day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight.
