I Adeline T. Odom do make and publish this as my last Will and testament. Item 1st - I am in fee (?) three shares of the land which was allotted to me as dower in the real estate of my late husband Harris Odom being the shares that were conveyed to me by my daughters Mrs. Temple, Mrs. Baber and by my son J.T.E. Odom also the part conveyed to me by Mrs. Rhoda Baker and Mrs. Mary Newsom the said land so owned by me being all of the land owned by me in Sumner County. I give to my son J.T.E. Odom in trust for sole and separate use of Mrs. Jennie Odom wife of J.T.E. Odom during the life of said Jennie Odom with remainder in fee to J.T.E. Odom to take effect at the death Jennie Odom. And the said J.T.E. Odom is fully vested with the power at any time and during the life of Mrs. Jennie Odom to sell said land his wife giving her consent and joining in the deed. And the said J.T.E. Odom is not required to give bond and security as said trustee.
Item 2nd - I own an estate during the life of my son in law John S. Baber in the land upon which he now lives. I give said life estate to the children of my daughter Harriet Baber.
Item 3rd - I direct all the balance of my estate real and personal to be divided into four parts of which I give one part to each of my other daughters vis: Mrs. Louise Saffarans, Mrs. Mary Joyner and Mrs. Leonidas Baker and one share to the children of Mrs. Harriet Baber my deceased daughter - but the children of Mrs. Baber are to be charged with what I have given their mother and with the life estate given them in this will and each of my daughters is to be charged with what I (sic) given them so as to make the four shares equal after charging all that has been received hereafter. The above inter________ in the first item were made before signing this will it being my intention in said 1st item to embrace (?) all my real estate in Sumner County except the life estate described Item 2nd of this will.

The last will and testament of Adeline T. Odom deceased was this day produced in open court for probate and was duly proven by the oaths of Charles E. Boddie and E.O. Elliott subscribing witnesses _______ which is received by this court and ordered to be recorded.
