In the name of God Amen. I Joseph Wilson of Sumner County and state of Tennessee being frail of body but sound and perfect mind and memory knowing that it is appointed untl all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament. Item 1st, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah Wilson a negro woman named Patience age between thirty and forty years absolutely with her increase to dispose of as she may think proper. Item 2nd, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Polly Wilson the life estate in a negro girl Mariah about 15 years old and at the death of the said Polly Wilson the same Mariah to go with her increase to the children of my daughter Sarah Barham five of three share and share alike. Item 3rd, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Fanny Barham my negro boy Lee age between three and four years absolutely. Item 4th, in consideration of my son James T. Wilson securing to myself and wife Sarah Wilson during our lives a maintanance I give and bequeath to him my two negro boys Westly and Jim with all my stock absolutely my daughters Eleanor, Elizabeth and Anne and my son James T., Moses and Montillion W. Wilson, I consider to have had previously given to them a fair porportion of my estate. I do here by make constitute and appoint P. W. Lucus my sole executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this 9th day of Feby 1833.

State of Tennessee Sumner County Court May Term 1833.

The last will and testament of Joseph Wilson dec'd was exhibited in open court for probate and duly proved agreeable to law by the oath of Leroy I. Farmer, and James Gourley the subscribing witnesses there to and ordered to be registered. A copy test.
