I Mathew Armstrong do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at this time. First I direct that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that may be possessed of or may come in to the hands of my daughter Soundity (?). I give to my two sons Robert Armstrong and Joseph Armstrong be equally divided between them after disposing of as much as will pay my just debts as first named. Secondly, I give to my daughters Elizabeth Wise, Charlotte Marcus, Susan Baldridge each one feather bead (as spelled in will) one cow and calf and sow and pigs which they have heretofore received. Fourth I give to the heirs of my daughter Polly Ann Leddy one dollar. Fifth, I give to my grandson John Armstrong son of Mathew Armstrong dec'd one dollar. Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint Josiah Watson my executor. In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal this 23rd day of June 1851.
