TRANSCRIPT W. J. DOUGLASS TO WILLIAM C. BERRY

I W. J. Douglass have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Wm. C. Berry and his heirs forever for the consideration of three hundred and twenty dollars to me paid one tract of land in the State of Tennessee Sumner County, District No. 6 containing by estimation thirty seven & half acres, more or less and bounded as follows: Beginning at an Elm tree, Henry Vinson�s South West Corner and running South four degrees East thirty four poles & eighteen links to a rock, thence East eighty poles & twenty seven links to a stake, thence South thirty eight poles & eighteen links to a rock, thence East forty poles & twelve links to a Rock in James Cartwrights West boundary line, thence North with Cartwights line seventy six poles & thirty six links to said Cartwrights North West corner, Thence with Henry Vinsons South boundary to the beginning, Containing thirty seven & a half acres more or less. The title of said land and all things in any manner appertaining to it I do Warrant unto the said William C. Berry against the claim of myself my heirs or assigns forever. As Witness my hand and Seal this 14th Sept 1843.
