Note from Lynn:
I counted 31 stones or bases for stones; some of the smaller stones may have been footstones, but we were unable to tell. Most of the stones are just barely decipherable. Most of the stones are pitted and there are a few broken and there are a few that are just the base and no headstone on top. There are two very old rusty metal fences with fancy work on the top of each rod of the fences all the way around. The first fenced in area had the flat headstone:
"RUCKER" which I will give the info below and the other fenced in area, right next to the first one had unreadable headstones and one tall headstone that had the entire family "YOUNG" written on it, using up three sides of the. That stone looked like a tall church-type steeple.

THERE IS ONE UNREADABLE STONE, VERY PITTED THAT HAS AN EPITAPH ON THE BACK OF IT, THAT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS SHALLOWLY ENGRAVED IN MORE RECENT TIMES. IT SAYS
"SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF JAMES WATKINS, WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE
AUG. 15, 1816
AGED 46 YRS.
(Note by DP: Book by Snider & Yorgason have "d. 13 Aug 1846 aged 75 yrs." However, a Watkins researchers suggests that the death date is 15 Aug 1816 and that he was 46 at the time of his death.)
