Wright Cemetery Information from Theda Pond Womack & Becky Settle
Location: North Wright's lane (once called Desha Creek Road). Cemetery is on west side of road in yard of the Porter Womack place.
WRIGHT, Mary M. 30 Jan 1822 - 29 Aug 1838
In 1949 in same cemetery with Mary M. Wright (1822 - 38) were graves of her parents:
WRIGHT, Nancy Montgomery b. 1780/90 d. 1 Feb 1842
These graves were unmarked inside a stone wall. In the 1930's Thomas G. Wright, grandfather
of Porter Womack, told Porter these were the graves of James and Nancy. James Wright was a brother
to Gideon Wright (1777- 1867) buried on an adjoining farm.
