In the name of God Amen I Isaac Baker Senior being desirous of making some disposition of the ballance of my property not heretofore given to my children do fully Constitute and make this my Last Will and Testament hereby making null and void all other Wills by me heretofore made. Item 1st I give to my beloved wife Mary Baker the one half of the tract of land I now live on embracing all of the improvements. Also one third part of all my live Stock Farming Utinsals household and kitchen furniture Also all of the ballance of my Red River and Gallatin road Stock except one hundred and fourteen poles which has been transferred to Edmond Green

I wish also so much of the proceeds of said road as would be necessary to enable my sons Leonidas and Isaac Baker to travel the said road free of Toll provided they join equally with their mother in keeping up said road. I do give to my beloved wife the following negros, _______, Isaac, Fanny, Iva, Ransom, Mary Ann, Mariah, Fany (?), Henderson, Molly, Cely, & Amanda during her natural life and after her death to be equally divided among all my living Children Share and Share alike. Item 2nd I give to my daughter Eliza W. Douglass a negro girl Molly which she has in her possession during her life and the life of her husband and after their death to decend to the Children. I also give her Two hundred and fifty dollars in Cash or Cash notes. I also give to her the land which they now have in possession not recollecting whether I have made a deed for the same or not. I also give to her all the property she has now or may have had in possession. Item 3rd I give to my Daughter Matilda Walton all of the property they have in possession either lands or negros I also give her a negro girl Charity and her daughter Jinny. Item 4th I give to my daughter Elizabeth Saffarans together with what I have heretofore given her two negros (viz) I (or J) John & Malvina also a note which I hold on Saffarans & Howard for Five hundred and fifty dollars all of which she has received Item 5th I give to my son Zack W. Baker a tract of land Containing about Two hundred and thirty two acres out of the South west Corner of the Shelby tract bounded as follows by the Middle fork of Station Camp Creek on the west on the south by the land of Leonidas Baker on the South by Sniddy (?) old line I also give a negro man Bob which has been received together with all other property that I have heretofore given him. I also give him my Turnpike Stock in Gallatin and Ridge Road Commencing at the Creek & Running north to Zat Douglass South boundary. I also give him my gould headed walking Cane. Item 6th I give to my son in law David Saffarans my gould frame Spectacles. Item 7th I give to my son Larkin Baker all that tract of land Called the Gillespie tract except the part that I gave by deed to Isaac C. Douglass Together with all of the property I have heretofore given him now in his possession also my Silver Time (?) watch. Item 8th I give to my son Zack W. Baker in trust for the use and benefit of my son Isaac Baker Junior a tract of Land lying in the north west corner of the Shelby tract bounded by the Creek on the West by the Gallatin and Red River road on the north on the East by a line that is marked between him and Leonidas to a rock in the said line then West to the Creek. I also give to my son Zack in trust for the use of my son Isaac the following negros (viz) Grace, Ned, and Betsy. It is my Will and desire that my son Isaac shall use and enjoy the benefit of said property during his lifetime and during lifetime or widowhood of his wife Mary Baker then said property to be equally divided between his Children. Item 9th I give to my daughter Mary Howard all the property which I have heretofore put in her possession also a note of Five hundred and fifty dollars on Howard & Saffarans which note has been received. Item 10th I give to my son Leonidas Baker all the land that I own on the East of said Shelby tract supposed to be two hundred and thirty two acres. I also give him the following negros (viz) George Nelly Dick Lewis and Nathan together with all other property which he has had in possession Item 11th I give to my son John Baker the One half of the tract of land I now live on and the ballance of the tract after the death of his mother. I also give him the following negros (viz) Mourning (?) Elluck (?) Edmond Sophia & Peter. Item 12th I give to my Grand Daughters Ann House and Elizabeth McGooddin (should be McGoodwin) each Three hundred dollars in Cash. Item 13th It is my will and desire that all of my property not named in this Will be sold on a Credit of Twelve months except my negros they must be divided and remain in the family and the proceeds of the sale as above be divided equally between all of my Children then living. Lastly I hereby nominate and appoint my Son Zack Baker Leonidas Baker John Baker & my son in Law Benjamin R. Howard my Executors to Execute this my last Will and Testament who are not required by me to give Security for the Execution of this my last Will. I witness whereof It was hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this Thirty first day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty.

On 1st page 22nd line from the top interlined before assigned Signed Sealed and delivered in Our presence and on the day it bears dates Codicil to this my last Will, In Item Eleven in the Body of my Will was given to my son John Baker all of my home tract of land after the death of his mother and my desire to change said Item by taking off One hundred and fifty acres of this land Beginning on the Creek a little north from where the Old water mill formerly stood & running west up the hollow to the west boundary so as to include a spring in said hollow which one Hundred and fifty acres of land I wish to be divided between all of my children then living and the portion that shall fall to my son Isaac Baker I desire it to be placed in the hand of my son Zack in Trust for the use & benefit of my son Isaac & furthermore it is my wish if the Heirs are disposed to sell their Interest in said land that they give my son John the prefference. It is my desire that this Codicil by attached to & constitute a part of my Will to all Intents & purposes this 19th day of July 1850.

Second Codicil to my last Will & Testament.
The above Codicil made on the Nineteenth day of July 1850 to this my last Will which cuts off One hundred and fifty acres of land on the north of my home tract shall now be null & void and of no effect. It is now my will and desire that all my home tract of land shall go to my son John Baker after the death of his Mother as mentioned in Item 11th In the Body of my Will he my son John Baker shall write his note for Three hundred dollars each to be paid to my Two Grand daughters Ann House & Elizabeth McGoodwin.
