Fleming Frances and Tennie Alice Overstreet Family
This picture is of my great grandparents (seated) Fleming Frances Overstreet, b. 4 Aug. 1873
d. 11 March 1954, He was the son of John Overstreet and Martha Francis (Fannie) Green.and
Tennie Alice (Grissom, Grisham) Overstreet b. 17 Nov. 1877 d. 17 Feb. 1950.
Standing from L-R are my grandmother, Nellie Mae (Overstreet) Woodard b. January 27, 1908,
she married Henry (Jeff) Woodard, Elmer (Overstreet) West was married to Jim West, and Esther
Pearl (Overstreet) West who was married to Letch West.
Fleming and Tennie also had two older sons, John King Overstreet b. February 1894 and Riley
Overstreet b. 1899, they were farmers in the Carthage area and for a period were share croppers
on the Gore family farm.Fleming and Tennie also had two sons.
Tennie Alice Grisham wife of Fleming Overstreet was the daughter of Joseph C. Grisham
and Eliza Harville and they are pictured on this website:
