Judith (Judy) Pankey Kemp was born June 29, 1812 in the Difficult Community of Smith County,
Tennessee and died February 8, 1900 having lived her life in the same community. She was the
daughter of Ozyeah Uzzie (Auzy) Pankey, Jr. and Sarah (Sally) Kirby Pankey. Judy married John
Wilson Kemp in about 1832. They became the parents of four sons and four daughters.
Judy was buried in the John Law Cemetery.

Their youngest daughter, Permelia Elizabeth (Lizzie), married Levi Washington Hackett,
my great grandparents, and their picture is also shown on this website.
