Birl Dixon Kemp was the son of Bailey Peyton and Juda Grenade Kemp. Birl
was born October 30, 1861 died February 19, 1952. He married his first
cousin Rebecca Spragins Kemp the daughter of Harvey "Harry" Kemp and Jane
Russell Kemp. Rebecca was born January 27, 1865 and died July 26, 1944.
These are the children of Birl Dixon and Rebecca Spragins Kemp.
1. Vallie Lee Kemp b. Oct. 5, 1884 d. 1962 married first Dave Williams
second Charles Campbell. She had two daughters one named Mae who is the
wife of Roger Mae Murray. We know nothing about the other daughter.
2. Leslie Buford Kemp b. April 28, 1888 d. Dec. 23, 1959 married Almedie Tabor.
