Walter Lawson Craighead was the son of Overton and Sarah Dillehay Craighead.
Walter died of pneumonia at an early age when his youngest child was only one year old.
Callie was the daughter of Larkin and Louisa Lankford Kemp (see link below)

The only known photo of Walter Lawson Craighead is shown on the following page:
Larkin and Overton were twins and married sisters. This family lived in the Defeated
Creek community in the hollow back of the Lankford cemetery. Walter and Callie are
buried in the Lankford cemetery. A daughter, Margie Craighead, died during early
childhood and is also buried in the Lankford cemetery.
