Wade met Elizabeth
while in prison during the Civil War.
He was captured at Ringgold, and
imprisoned at Rock Island, Il. from 1863 - 1865.
Roxie Ellen Sircy
Roxie Ellen Sircy, b. July 20, 1863, d. September 5, 1940.
She was the
second wife of John Pinkney Butler my grandfather.
The Searcy/Sircy line experienced a split in the family after a family
tragedy.
The name also underwent a change of spelling but they are still
kin.
