Sycamore Valley Missonary Baptist Church
This Church is located on Big Peyton's Creek road. Its sbout 5 miles from Pleasant shade. And is about a
mile north from the Will Gregory Cemetery. Will Gregory was my GG Grandfather. He donated the land for
the Cemetery to the church. The majority of the folks buried in the cemetery were members of this church.
I can remember as a boy when brother Cal Gregory preached here. He was spell binding to listen to. He
wasn't the pastor, But was invited to preach revivals. I cant remember for sure but I believe T.C. Jones was
the pastor back in the early fifties.
