Green Valley Baptist Church
The Green Valley Baptist Church is located in Horseshoe Bend, Smith County Tennessee. Eld. Phocian
Gibbs became the pastor of this church in 1927 and served there for many years. A lot of the old families
were displaced from the area by the waters of Cordell Hull Dam but the area population seems to be
growing in recent years with the construction of new homes.
