Church of God Bowling Branch
The Church of God at Bowling Branch in Smith County. Church was built in fall
of 1928 and had a sawdust floor. Ed Hunt shown with car.
The building was originally intended as a tabernacle or central meeting place for a
larger area and not as an individual church which is why it is so large. The old
building shown in the photos above is now empty and they have a new building they
moved into in the summer of 2001. They also have a website :
