The Stone of S. R. Corum was buried and found by John & Retta Waggoner along with Vickie Flemming,
grave registration chairperson for the United Daughters of the Confederacy they spending an afternoon
cleaning and erecting the Head Stone. We appreciate their efforts to preserve a Confederate grave.

The Cleanup on April 9th, 2005

This stone was set previous to this cleanup by the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

The Ward-Fite Camp #1924 Sons of Confederate Veterans and others helped clean
this cemetery up a new fence is planned soon. There were about 10 people at
the cemetery cleanup. A lot of loose wood was cut down and burned.
Many tombstones were set back up.
