Page Cemetery
The Page Cemetery is located 2 miles west of Hiwassee Road on Spar Mine Road. It is on
the hill behind the beautifully restored log home built by Joseph Bishop in the early 1800s.
After death of Bishop about 1863 this property was acquired by the Page family who still
retain ownership. Bishop is reported to be the first settler in Smith County.

Buried here without markers are Joseph Bishop 1770 - Ca.1863; his wife, Sarah Norris and son Joseph.
