The Myers Cemetery
The Myers Cemetery is located on Smiths Bend Rd. in the Gladdice Community of Jackson Co.
This area was once a part of Smith County. We would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Billy White
Myers for their help in gathering some of the information. This farm has been in his family
for over one hundred years. It is not listed in the Smith Co. Cemetery Book

White Myers, Jan. 10, 1863 Jan. 25, 1934
Roxie May (Gailbreath) Myers w/o White Myers Dec. 26, 1876 Oct. 6, 1929
Patrick Henry Myers July 18, 1831 Nov. 7, 1868

Buried in two rock crypts are:
Phillip Myers he died Oct.10, 1835
His wife Mary White Cook Myers she died July 12, 1845

Notes: Mary White Cook Myers was the daughter of Captain William White.

Patrick Henry Myers' wife was Sarah E. Pate Payne Myers.
She is buried in a neighboring county.

Family history says the child buried in the rock crypt wasn't a Myers but
did live on the farm. She was killed by scalding water.

Also on the Myers Farm was the Slaughter Cemetery. It has been destroyed.
