The McClain Cemetery
The McClain Cemetery is located about 7/10 miles west off Lancaster Road on Hickman Creek
Road South. Cemetery is on old Stanton Preston farm about 100 yards west of highway and 50
yards east of Hickman Creek. The three McClain graves are in a stone and concrete enclosure.

McClain, William 18 Jan 1792 - 28 Jan 1865
McClain, Elizabeth G. 26 Dec 1788 -1 June 1863
(Note- D/O John Trousdale - married 1812)
McClain, Lemuel B. 5 Oct 1825 - 17 Sept 1841

There are several burials outside the stone enclosure marked
with fieldstones which are said to be the slaves of McClains.
