Elder Miles West Gets New Tombstone
The Friendship Primitive Baptist Church had their 200th Anniversary
celebration in June 2006. A part of that service was honoring
Elder Miles West who served as pastor for 33 years. A new tombstone
was donated which was placed at the church for the service. It was
later moved to the Lankford Cemetery to mark his grave which was
previously marked by a fieldstone.
