Climer Cemetery
To locate the Climer Cemetery take Red Boiling Springs Road (Hwy 80) and 1.5 miles after crossing into
Macon County turn right on Davis Road. Continue until the road splits and take Sircy Ridge Lane to the
left, which goes back into Smith County. Go to the end of Sircy Ridge Lane, and turn left onto gravel
farm road. Keep on this road for 7/10th mile passing thru two gates until coming to an unoccupied house.
The cemetery is 100 yards to the left of the house in a field.

Climer, Mileye 1 Sep 1821- 8 Sep 1888

Climer, Thomas 24 Apr 1811- 3 Feb 1878
"An honest man the noblest work of God"
Several burials indicated by fieldstones and sunken graves.

Note: Mary Gregory was the daughter of Thomas & Mileye (Phillips) Climer.
She married Jesse A. Gregory (1846-1914) ca. 1892.
Thomas Climer is listed in the 1880 Smith Co. census-Occupation "dead".
