Blair Cemetery
Thanks to Rev. Ernest Blair for showing us this cemetery on March 8, 2007.
The Blair Cemetery is located in the Maggart Community of Smith Co. Tennessee. It is three-tenths mile
off of Maggart Road on Vaden Lane in an area known as the Blair Hollow. The cemetery is in a wooded
area on a hill approx. 500 feet from the North side of the road. There appear to be five graves marked
only by fieldstones. The names of those buried here have been provided by family members.

Blair,Sarah Campbell ca.1800-bet.1870-1880
Campbell, Mary -In the 1850 Smith County Census she was listed in the household of Charles
and Sarah Blair with an age of 100. May have been mother or grandmother of Sarah.
Womack-First name unknown. Possibly Womack listed in Blair household in census.
Blair, Emmitt Nothing is known of this man other than family legend that he was buried here ca. 1900.
The old man was said to have been a quiltmaker.
