Miss Georgia Adams and Mr. Rube Cunningham
were united in mariage last Friday evening at the home of Rev. R. A.
Cheek. The bride is the daughere of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Adams.
Deaths of a Week Over The County.
Following are the deaths of a week which happened over
the county generally.
Mrs. Mary E. Manley died at her home last Thursday
and was buried Sunday. She was 70 years of age.
Mrs. Jesse Burroughs died at her home in Burroughs
Cove Saturday Feb and buried the 18th.
Mrs. Rebecca Clepper died at her home in Pelham
valley Monday at the age of 73 years. Funeral services were held at the
home and she was buried in the Pelham cemetery.
J. B. Dove died at his home on Shadrick Hill last
Monday morning at 1 o’clock at an advanced aged. Mr. Dove was for
many years a resident of Marion County and was pretty well known in both
Grundy and Marion counties.
An infant of Mr. Dave Henley died last Friday and
was buried in the City Cemetery here.
And infant of Mr. and Mrs Arthur Meeks died at Coalmont last Thursday.
