W. BARNES and Wife to R. M. SURRATT Deed State of Tennessee, McNairy County. Know all men by these presents, That we, GEORGE W. BARNES and wife SARAH E. BARNES, have this day bargained and sold to R. M. SURRATT for the consideration of thirty five dollars to us in hand paid, our entire undivided interest in and to the following tract of land lying and being in McNairy County, State of Tennessee, and bounded as follows: Being the same land on which OUR FATHER, DENNIS BARNES, resided at the time of his death, situated about 4 miles northeast of Purdy. To have and to hold the same to the said R. M. SURRATT and his heirs forever, we covenant with the said R. M. SURRATT that we are lawfully seized of said land and that we have a good right to convey the same. And that it is unencumbered in any way and we bind ourselves and heirs to warrant and forever defend the title of the same to the said R. M.
