WISDOM to ASA BAUCUM Deed, 50 acres We, JOHN H. DUKE, C. SHULL, S. M. AND JOHN L. WISDOM, executors of WILLIAM S. WISDOM, by virtue of power in us vested by the last will and testament and in compliance with a bond executed by the said WISDOM in [his] lifetime, which has been lost or mislaid, affadavit of which appears on file among the land purpose hereby transfer and convey to ASA BAUCUM and his heirs and assigns forever for the consideration of three hundred dollars paid to us and WILLIAM S. WISDOM in his lifetime, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, a certain piece of land. Being the balance of Entry Number 1453 in the name of WILLLIAM S. WISDOM for 98 acres as not heretofore conveyed to SOPHIA MOON by deed dated 5 September 1873. Bounded as follows: Begins at MISS MOON'S North East corner, runs North 94 poles to the North East corner of Reserve Entry No. 1453 to a stake, black jack and black oak pointers. Then West 85 poles to a stake, post oak and 2 arden pointers, Then South 94 poles to MISS MOON'S North West corner, Then East 85 poles to the beginning, containing 50 acres more or less. Our object and intention being to convey to BAUCUM the balance of Entry No. 1453 not already deeded to MISS MOON whatever it may prove to be and nothing else. The title of which land, we hereby bind the heirs of said WILLIAM S. WISDOM and forever defend to the said ASA BAUCUM, his heirs and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever as fully and effectually as they caused be bound by the said WILLIAM S.
