WISDOM to D. D. HARDIN 150 acres I, WILLIAM S. WISDOM, have this day bargained and sold and hereby transfer and convey to D. D. HARDIN, his heirs forever for the consideration of three hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid by the said HARDIN, a certain tract of land in McNairy County, State of Tennessee, being the same place that you purchased from WILLIE [WILEY] BAUCUM and bounded as follows: Beginning at a stake and black oak pointers at the South East corner of Entry Number 2648 in the name of WISDOM AND WALSH, runs West 88 poles to a black oak, black oak and hickory pointers. Then South 9 poles to a stake and 2 chestnut pointers. Then West 34 poles to a hornbeam maple and white oak pointers on the branch. Then North following up the branch 139 poles on a straight line to a stake, 2 gum and white oak pointers. THen West 18 poles to a black oak and black oak pointers. Then North 18 poles to a stake in a field. Then West 30 poles to a stake, black oak and hickory pointers. Then North 10 poles to a black oak, black oak and black jack pointers. Then West 44 poles to a black oak, black oak and white oak pointers. Then North 23 poles to a gum, white and black oak pointers. Then East 30 poles to a stake, black oak and 3 hickory pointers. Then North 68 poles to a stake in the big road on the South West corner of A. [ASA] BAUCUM'S tract. Then a SouthEast direction following the road about 190 poles to the said BAUCUM'S South East corner of said road being the line between you and BAUCUM. The South 120 poles to the begining containing about 150 acres to the same more or less. To have and to hold the same to the said HARDIN, his heirs and assignes forever, I covenant with the said HARDIN that I am lawfully seized of said land and have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered. I further covenant and bind myself, my heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title of the land and every part thereof to the said HARDIN, his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever.
