M. HARRIS, CAROLINE [CASE] JUSTICE, JOEL B. HARRIS, M. D. W. CASE, ALEXANDER JUSTICE, JOHN D. CASE to WILLIAM B. HILL DEED, 85 acres We, CHARLES CASE, JOHN D. CASE, ALEXANDER JUSTICE and his wife, CAROLINE JUSTICE, formerly CAROLINE CASE, and JOEL B. HARRIS and his wife ELIZABETH E. HARRIS, formerly ELIZABETH E. CASE, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and forty dollars and 60 cents to us in hand paid by WILLIAM B. HILL, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have this day bargained and sold and doth by these presents bargain, sell, convey, and transfer unto the said Hill and unto his heirs and assigns forever all our share and undivided interests (each having one eighth) in and to the following tract described: Tract of land lying and being in McNairy County, State of Tennessee in Range 3 and Section 5 and being a part of Entry Number 1456, granted to JONAS D. CASE by the State for 199 acres that portion intended to be conveyed is bounded as follows: Beginning on a Black Jack and 2 post oak pointers, the North West corner of said Entry Number 1456. Runs East 140 poles to a Black Jack and post oak pointer, then South 124 poles to a stake and 2 black jack pointers, then West 58 poles to a post oak and spanish oak pointer, the South about 82 poles to a sweetgum on the banks of Billy's Creek, chestnut and gum pointers, then a NorthWest direction down said Creek with the North boundary line of a portion of this tract conveyed to said HILL by JONAS CASE to where said Creek ...... the West line, then North with said West line to the beginning. It is supposed 135 acres be the same more or less. To have and to hold the same to the only proper use and benefit of him the said Hill, his heirs, and assigns forever, we covenant with the said Hill that we are seized of our said share or undivided interest in and to SAID LAND, IT HAVING DESCENDED TO US FROM OUR FATHER, JONAS CASE, and have a good right to convey it, our said shares. We further bind ourselves, our heirs, and representatives that we will warrant and defend the right and title of our said shares in said land from all the lawful claims of ourselves, our heirs, and assigns, but from other persons.
