HILL came into open Court and was appointed Guardian for ELIZA PRESTON, a minor of A. [AARON] H. CASEdeceased, and gave bond in the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars, with WILEY BAUCUM and R. H. HILL as securities who, with said HILL acknowledged the same in open court, which was approved. --------------------------------------McNairy County, Tennessee Chancery Court, pp. 509-10 10 April 1874 ELIZA PRESTON v. J. R. PRESTON This cause came on to be heard at the 10th day of April 1874, before Chancellor Nixon upon Complainant's Bill, and it appearing that a Copy Bill [illegible] not issued by the Clerk and Master of this court, considering said defendant to appear at the missed term of the Court and that the same came into the house of the Sheriff of McNairy County more than three months before the present term [about January 1874]. And the same has been returned not to be found, and the said defendant, having failed to appear within the first three days of this term, It is therefore ordered that said bill be taken as confessed and set for hearing reports. ELIZA PRESTON v. J. R. PRESTON Be it remembered that this cause came on to be heard before Chancellor Nixon on this 10th day of April 1874 upon Bill [illegible] order are proof in this cause. It is therefore ordered, adjudged, and decreed by this Court that the Complainant is entitled to the relief sought in her Bill and it is further ordered and decreed that the bonds of Matimony hitherto subsisting between ELIZA PRESTON and J. R. PREESTON be dissolved and for nothing held and that the said ELIZA PRESTON be restored to all the rights and privileges of a femme sole and that SAMUEL J. JONES [illegible] Security upon the prosecution bond pay the cost of the cause for which execution will issue and that he has judgment over against the said J. R. PRESTON for which the said SAMUEL J.
