Mrs. Plunk was a retired psychiatric aide at Western Mental Health in Bolivar. She was a member of Fourth Street Church of Christian Selmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin and Sarah Dickey Young and two husbands, Aubrey Carl Plunk and Joe Logan Harris. She is survived by two stepdaughters, Laverle Kemp of Adamsville and Carlene Kennedy of Memphis; two grandnieces, Sandie Turner and Juan Jordan, both of Cleveland; and a niece, Carolyn O'Rouke of Illinois. Mrs. Rowland was a member of Maggie Jones Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and a seamstress for Enville and Leapwood factories. She was born in Decatur County, the daughter of the late John H. Spence and Cassie Douglas Spence. She grew up in Lake County and in 1932 moved to McNairy County near Enville. She was married to Herlie Nash in 1934. They made their home in Chicago until 1963 when they returned to Finger. He operated a bulldozer and later worked at Enville Factory. She later married Alfas Dale Rowland and they made their home near Enville. She was preceded in death by Herlie Nash and later Alfas Dale Rowland in 2001. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Spence; and a son, whom she raised, Manuel Shelton, who died in 1997. She is survived by two sisters, Fronie Allison of Enville and Lona Burross of Alamo. He is survived by a daughter, Sarah Jane Griffen of Tampa, FL; and two sons, Arnold W. Grant, Sr. of Cold Water, MS and William Ralph Grant, Sr. of Holly Springs, MS. He had seven grandchildren. ODUS ROSCOE STEELE, 91, died Mar. 7, 2003, in Luka, Mississippi Hospital after several months illness. He was born Sept. 13, 1911, in Stantonville, the eldest of eight children born to Molly McKenzie and James O. Steele. He graduated from the former Presbyterian Prep School in Purdy, and Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson. He was in the retail furniture business in both Selmer and Franklin for 52 years, retiring in 1990. At the time of his death he had been living in the home he shared with his daughter in the Luka, MS area of the Tennessee River. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Clevie Willis Steele, in 1993. Survivors are his daughter, Betty Steele Hoover and son-in-law, Anthony D. Auzeene of Iuka, and four grandchildren, Dr. Jeffery N. Hoover of Memphis, Dan Edmondson Hoover and Susan Hoover Cook of Nashville, and Howell C. Hoover of Iuka. He had six gr-grandchildren, Jessie and Clay Hoover of Nashville, Patrick N. Hoover of Memphis, Kirsten J. Hoover of Iuka, and Grace and Olivia Cook of Nashville. Also survived by two sisters, Christine Strasshoffer and Evelyn Shipley of San Pedro, CA. He was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ in Selmer. 'JUNIOR' FRANK, JR. of Henderson, 77, died March a5, 2003 at his residence. Mr. Frank was born in the Hearns Chapel Community of Chester County, the son of the late Robert Luther and Stella Ballard Frank. He attended schools in Chester County; and in 1942 he joined the U. S. Navy Seebee's, serving in the Pacific Theater of Guam, as well as other places, building air fields. He was discharge in 1945, returning to Chester Co., and was married to Clark Cherry in 1947. He worked in highway construction as a bulldozer operator for several Construction Companies, and later with T.V.A. Mr. Frank served at Chester County road Commissioner form 1966 until 1978. He later retired and returned to cattle farming on the farm where he was reared. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon for many years. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion, TN Cattlemen's Association and the Chester County Farmers Co-Op. He was preceded in death by a brother, James William 'J.W.' Frank in 1973. He is survived by his wife, Clark Cherry Frank of Henderson; two sons, Mike Frank and Norris Frank, both of Henderson; two daughters, Sandra King of Selmer and Debbie Whitfield off Henderson; and a brother, Marvin Frank of Henderson. He had eleven grandchildren and two gr-grandchildren. Services were held at 1 p.m. on Tues., Mar. 18th at Casey Funeral Home Chapel, with the reverend Charles Ward and the Reverend Richard Owens officiating. She was a 1963 graduate of Easom High School. She received her BS degree in Sociology at Lane College, where she also pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She was active in her church, City Road C.M.E. Temple, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, President of the Missionary Society, Steward on the Steward board, and Recording Steward. She was a member of the Annual Conference Joint Board of Finance. She had been a delegate to the last three General Conferences. She was a member of the NAACP, Daughter Rules for Gladys King Temple #1237, a member of the Corinth High School Booster Club and founder of the Aquarius Federated Club. She was a retiree of World Color Corp. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ed and Lorene Harris; her grandparents, Clemson and Elmer Orr and Clovis and Viola Harris; and two brothers, Willie Dee Harris and Willie Holland. She is survived by a son; Arvin Harris; two sisters, Mary Lou Harris- Johnson of Corinth, MS and Judy Kirk of Bolivar; and four brothers, William E.
