Mrs. Milligan was a homemaker and a member of the Goodhope Missionary Baptist Church near Adamsville. She was born and reared in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Ervin Austin and Jessie Whitten Plunk. She attended Schools in McNairy County. She attended schools in McNairy County. She was married to Dee Witt Clouse in 1936 and they made their home in McNairy, Madison and Obion counties, where they did dairy work. Mr. Clouse died in 1974. She was later married to Jeff Milligan and they made their home in Mason Hall. Mr. Milligan died in 1999. She continued to live in Mason Hall until she went to Union City Manor a year ago. She is survived by a son, Bill Clouse and wife Shirley of Union City; two stepsons, Ronnie Milligan of Union City and J. D. Milligan of Mason Hall; two stepdaughters, Donna Berg of Murfreesboro and Joyce Tatum of Cookeville; two brothers, Marvin Plunk of Leapwood and Jerry Plunk of Adamsville; and one sister, Johnnie Childers of Peoria, IL. She had sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-six gr-grandchildren Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 7th at Casey Funeral Home in Henderson, with the Reverend Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Selmer. ................... STEPHEN JONES, 48, of Bethel Springs, died Dec. 4, 2002 in College City, AR. The husband of Deborah Reed Jones, who survives, he was a driver for EMC Truck Lines and had previously driven for WTX for 4 years, and was very involved with his family. He was born on Feb. 8, 1954, in Britain, England, the son of Robert Jones of Shrewsberry, Britain and the late Marie Kennedy Jones, and lived in this area since 1989. He served for 15 years in the Queen's Army and was in the Scot's Guard in the Faulkland Wars. He also was in the Queen's Band. Mr. Jones was a member and superintendent at Abundant Faith Fellowship Church. Services were 1 p.m. on Dec. 7th at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Bolivar, with Roger Vandiver and DeWayne Johnson officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery near Toone. JAMES WILLIAM "JIM" WAYNE, JR. of Corinth, MS, 65, died Mon., Dec. 9, 2002 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Dr. Wayne was a 1954 graduate of Shiloh High School, where he was Class President, Salutatorian, a member of the Beta and FFA clubs, basketball team, and chorus. He attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry at Memphis, where he met his future wife, Barbara McMahan, a student at the Dental Hygiene School. He received his D.D.S. degree in June of 1961. In October of 1961 he entered the U.S. Army Dental Corps, where he served two years. Dr. Wayne practiced general dentistry in Corinth for 31 years. He was loved and respected by colleagues and patients alike. Dr. Wayne was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he was a member and officer of the Challenger Sunday School class, and had formerly served on the Administrative Board and Finance Committees. He had been a member of the Corinth Warriors Booster Club, and was known in the community as an avid high school sports fan. He had also been a member of the Alcorn-Corinth Chamber of Commerce, the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, Corinth Dental Society, the Masons, and the Kiwanis Club. He was a current member of the Tennessee Forestry Association and Ducks Unlimited. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and former patients. JAMES WILLIAM "JIM" WAYNE, JR. of Corinth, MS, 65, died Mon., Dec. 9, 2002 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Dr. Wayne was a 1954 graduate of Shiloh High School, where he was Class President, Salutatorian, a member of the Beta and FFA clubs, basketball team, and chorus. He attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry at Memphis, where he met his future wife, Barbara McMahan, a student at the Dental Hygiene School. He received his D.D.S. degree in June of 1961. In October of 1961 he entered the U.S. Army Dental Corps, where he served two years. Dr. Wayne practiced general dentistry in Corinth for 31 years. He was loved and respected by colleagues and patients alike. Dr. Wayne was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he was a member and officer of the Challenger Sunday School class, and had formerly served on the Administrative Board and Finance Committees. He had been a member of the Corinth Warriors Booster Club, and was known in the community as an avid high school sports fan. He had also been a member of the Alcorn-Corinth Chamber of Commerce, the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, Corinth Dental Society, the Masons, and the Kiwanis Club. He was a current member of the Tennessee Forestry Association and Ducks Unlimited. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and former patients. Services were held at 1 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 11th at First United Methodist Church of Corinth, with the Reverend Rod Borders, Dr. Randy Bostick, and Dr. Don Elliot officiating. Burial followed at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Hardin County. McPeters, Inc. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Dr. Wayne is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Barbara M. Wayne; two sons, Robert Mansfield "Bobby" Wayne and James William "Trey" Wayne, III and his wife Genia "Buffy"; two beloved grandchildren, Mary Louise Wayne and William Lee Wayne, all of Corinth; and one brother, Mark Wayne and his wife Phoebe of Counce. Other relatives included six cousins, Richard Jones, Robert Jones, John Graham, Carroll Graham, Jane Graham Kirchoff and Muray Carroll; an aunt, Mrs. Virgil "Dorothy" Wayne; two nieces Cynthia Ann Hawkins and her husband Brad and Amanda Kay Taylor and her husband, Jeff; and two gr-nephews, Ford and Bryce Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his parents, James William Wayne, Sr. and Otha Carroll Wayne, formerly of Hardin County. Mr. Dove is survived by his mother, Helen Louise Dave of Jackson; his wife, Renae Dove of Finger; three sons, Adam Dove and Jimmy Dove, both of Finger and Charlie Dove of Selmer; a step-son, Jason Gray of Iuka, MS; and three brothers, Terry Dove and Ricky Dove, both of Jackson and Larry Moody of Waverly. He had one grandchild. Services were held at 3 p.m. on Tues., Oct. 22 at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel in Jackson. Burial followed at Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bruceton.
