Mr. Weeks, a retired plumbing contractor, was a former resident of McNairy County. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Shelnutt Weeks and a daughter, Clorita Weeks. He is survived by a daughter and her husband, Mary Doug and Jim Rogers of Bethel Springs, and two grandchildren, Doug and Luke Rogers. He was a member of trinity Baptist Church and the American Legion in Booneville, Miss. He also served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Pearl Cleary Emmons, his parents, William Henry and Daisy P. Cooksey Emmons, and two brothers, Marshall Emmons an Aber Emmons. He is survived by two sisters, Zelma McCoy of Tullahoma and Marie Smith of Michie, one brother, Troy Emmons of Burnsville, Miss., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 130 p.m. on Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Home.
