AMISH
The Amish people in Lawrence keep neat utilitarian farms. They are frequently seen working their fields with their horse teams. Many of the farms sell produce and other items made on their farm. They are known for the fine quality of their craftsmanship.
In 1944, Amish people migrated into the area and established a community in northern Lawrence County.
