This photo is of :Orville and Julia (Henderlight) Davis BRANDON. This picture was taken somewhere between 1855 and 1861. They were living in Rogersville Hawkins Co TN in 1861 when their only son, J. J. (John Jefferson) BRANDON was born. They also had 3 daughters, Sarah ("Suds"), Mary Jane, and Orvillia who may have been born after J. J. It is not known when they came to Rogersville. Orville served in the Civil War, and it is assumed he died during the war (he died of pneumonia). Julia married again. Her 1st marriage was to Albert Davis who was killed by lightning. Her third marriage was to Cal Helton.
