The first couple in the two photos above is Silas Sirenus Haley and his wife Mollie Mills. Silas was born and raised in Gibson and served with the 51st & 52nd Infantry and the 20th Cavalry in the War Between the States. Silas was born on April 8, 1842 in TN and died on Feb 8, 1912 in Crawford County Arkansas.
The second couple in the second photo is George Haley, Silas Sirenus Haley's brother and a veteran of the 20th Cavalry during the same war. Standing next to George is his second wife Augusta Stephens. George was born on March 21, 1844 in TN and died in Arkansas on December 14, 1903.
