My dear sister:-
I received your letter a few days ago and was very
glad to hear from you all for I had not heard from you in so long. I did not
know but that you was dead. I am as well as could be expected of a person of
my age and am living in Medina Tenn. Emma is living in Lexington Tenn. Lucy
is living in Kenton Tenn and Sallie is living in Lavania Tenn and all would
be glad to her from you.
Medina is a very nice little town. We have 3
churches and a school building one roller mill and about 15 business houses
and some very pretty homes. I suppose about 500 people. We have good crops
here this year. I hope to hear from you again soon. With love to all,
