Mt. Orange Cemeteries. There are 3 churches that share this common cemetery. From the 4 way stop on Armory and College, it is located on 54 West, turn right on Mt. Orange Road. On the Alamo Highway at the four way stop turn right.

The cemeteries are located on the left. This is a Negro Cemetery and the Churches are.Jaminas Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Mt. Orange Baptist and Mt.Pilgrim CME Church (Methodist).

A special thanks to Mrs. Jerlene Doaks, an 92 year old lady is still as sharp as a tack. And to Marva Baskeville, who helped me find more names and dates from Baskeville Funeral home.

There are several stones that are unreadable, even more that are unmarked, and some in the woods and in a clump of high weeds..

I am planning on another trip ( in the winter) to find the rest of the names.
