RITES HELD FOR MRS. GEORGIA LOWRANCE

Mrs. Georgia Lee Morgan Lowrance, a lifelong Gibson Countian, died Monday
afternoon at her home after a long illness. She was 72.

Services were held at 2 Wednesday afternoon at the Midway Baptist Church near
Dyer. The Rev. W.L. Thompson of Jackson officiated. Burial was in the
Yorkville Cemetery with Baird Brothers Funeral Home in charge. She was a
Baptist.

She leaves four sons, V.R. Lowrance of Newbern, A.D. Lowrance of RoEllen, John
W. Lowrance of Nashville and Hollis Lowrance of Memphis; six daughters, Mrs.
Herman Campbell, Mrs. Glen Fletcher and Mrs. Frank Dodson of Dyer, Mrs. George
M. Davis and Mrs. Wallace Thornton of Trenton and Mrs. Ira Singleton of Barlow,
Ky; two brothers, O.C. Morgan of Dyersburg and H.C. Morgan of Trenton; four
sisters, Mrs. Josie Overall of Sardis, Miss., Mrs. Cecil Boyette of Memphis,
Mrs. Frankie Crossnoe of Dyersburg and Mrs. Callie Mutchos of Richmond, Calif.;
20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
