To:***Deed      )       This indenture made the 14th day of December in the year of Our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and
Elijah Kilzer      )       fifty between John W. Jones of the County of Gibson and state of Tennessee of the one part and Elijah Kilzer
of the county aforesaid of the other part witness that the said John W. Jones for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to me in hand paid by the said Elijah Kilzer the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge hath given granted sold conveyed and
confirmed unto the said Elijah Kilzer his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situated and being in the county of Gibson & State of Tennessee in Range 4 Section 1st in the 13th Surveyors District, Civil District No. 1st. It being forty acres off a 125 tract that the said Kilzer bought of the J. W. Jones and bounded as follows. Beginning at a Black gum & mulberry the northeast corner of the above 125 acres conveyed to Elijah Kilzer by said J. W. Jones by deed baring date the 12th day of June 1848--
running thence South 80 poles to a stake hickory & sweet gum pointer on the East boundary of said 125 acres thence west 80 poles to a white Oak on W. F. Jones East boundary line thence north 80 poles to his north east corner thence East 80 poles to the beginning to have and to hold the aforesaid land with all of singular the rights profits and emoluments and appurtenances of and in the belonging or in any misc appurtenances to the only proper use & behoof of him the said E. Kilzer his heirs and assigns forever and the said John W. Jones for himself his heirs executors and administrators do convenant and agree with said Elijah Kilzer that the before mention land and bargainor promises he will warraant and forever defend agains the right title intrusted or claim of all and every person what so ever. In witness whereof the said J. W. Jones hath here unto sit his hand & affixed his seal of the day & year above written.
