For and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Dollars paid Cash in hand We
J A Flippin & wife C J Flippin have this day sold and do hereby convey unto
Jesse Butler a certain tract or parcel of land lying in the 17th Civil District
of Gibson County Tenn & Known & bounded as follows

Bounded on the North by Butler on the west by Butler on the South by Flippin and
on the East by Pratt containing by estimation 15 acres be the same more or less
to have and to hold the same to the said J Butler and his heirs forever.

We agree that we are lawfully seized of said land have a good right to sell and
convey it and that the same is unencumbered.

We hereby bind ourselves our heirs and assigned to forever warrant and defend
the title to said land against the lawful claim of all persons whomsoever this
the 29th day of July 1891
