John NUNN, one of Dyer County's leading farmers, fell dead at his home near Bonicord Monday evening. He had been in bad health for some time. Mr. NUNN was about 50 years old and a member of the Christian Church. He is survived by his wife and a host of friends and relatives.

Last Sunday evening at the home of the bride's father, Dr. J. B. YORK, Rev. STOCKTON pronounced the ceremony that united in marriage, Mr. Charles KIRBY and Miss Jennie May YORK. [MORE]

The first snow of the winter fell here Monday morning. It soon vanished. This was an unusually early snow and was the first in many years to come before a heavy frost.

J. R. KELLOW went to Knoxville Sunday as a delegate from Lunsford Lodge to the State I.O.O.F. meeting.

Lee BLACKMAN has been employed as night marshal and will keep close watch on Main and Depot Street.

Mr. Ben HALL was in Halls Tuesday.

Frank CRAIG and T. N. LOVE were in Dyersburg Saturday and heard Ham speak.

Ed SCREWS attended court in Dyersburg Monday.

Chester HELFFY of near Crockett Mills was in town Monday.

Mrs. J. H. YANCEY and children of Campbell, Mo. came in last week and will make their future home here.

Rev. J. B. SANDERS was in town Monday.

Mr. Aaron SANDERS was in town Tuesday.

Mrs. M. O. GRIMMETT went to Knoxville Sunday to attend the State Convention of the Daughters of Rebehak.

Mr. & Mrs. Charles KIRBY have moved into the DILAHA residence on Harwell Heights.

Ira CLARK was in Dyersburg Tuesday.

E. W. SIMMONS of Alamo was a visitor here Sunday.

Mr. & Mrs. Austin JONES of Halls were visitors near here Sunday.

Horace AGEE and family visited in Halls Sunday.
