Mrs. IRVAN of Dyer is here with her husband, Contractor IRVAN.

Mr. And Mrs. Lonnie COBURN visited Mr. and Mrs. W. W. MAXWELL Saturday night.

Mrs. O. C. CUDE and mother, Mrs. MOORE of McKenzie are visitors here.

R. G. BRASFIELD and wife visited W. W. MAXWELL and wife Sunday.

Miss Wynona CURTIS is serving as postmistress this week while her father, Postmaster CURTIS, is attending the reunion at Chattanooga.

The sons of W. S. SIMMONS, nine in number, were at home Sunday. The following were those from a distance: E. E., Martin, Tenn., W. F., Trenton and I. W. of Halls. Mr. SIMMONS is the father of nine boys and five girls, all living.

Edwin DUNAGAN came home Sunday and was accompanied by his friend, Mr. LAWRENCE of Trenton.

John B. SANDERS went to Trenton Saturday on business and returned home Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Maynard MOSS of Tigrett, who has been visiting friends and relatives here for awhile, left Sunday for her father's home in Fulton, Ky.

Mrs. Logan HOPKINS who has been sick for several days is better.

Mrs. Kate SANDERS is in bed with the mumps.

Algie WOODS spent Saturday night with his father at Crockett Mills.

Messrs. Wm CURTIS and Jack AGEE are in Chattanooga this week attending the reunion.

Jim KINNEY, the hustling hardware man of Brownsville, was on our streets Tuesday.

W. H. ROBERTS of Jackson spent Monday night in the city.

Mr. and Mrs. John CHERRY of Chestnut Bluff passed through the city Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Euriah HARDY of Dyersburg visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. S. MOORE, Sunday.

R. W. RIGGINS went to Chestnut Bluff Monday on business.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. SUDBURY, Misses Gladys SUDBURY and Martha HITE and Mr. Morris NOTGRASS went to Dyersburg Monday in Mr. Sudbury's car.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl ROBERTSON of Maury City were visitors here Sunday.

Mrs. J. L. STALLINGS went to Jackson Tuesday to meet her daughter, Miss Helen RIDGEWAY, who has been attending school in Meridian, Miss.

A. S. McLEMORE returned Wednesday from Chattanooga.
