Golden Wedding Celebrated Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Conley of Alamo recently celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. They were married November 1, 1905 in the home of the late Reverend John Farrow, by Rev. Farrow. The Conley’s have no children of their own but have five foster children who they reared from early childhood. They are Max Cates, Rainey Cates, Mrs. Mary Frances Cates Watkins, Theron Parlow and Earl Hopper Parlow. All the children, with the exception of Mrs. Watkins, who was unable to attend, surprised Mr. and Mrs. Conley with a luncheon at their home on Sunday. A number of friends called during the afternoon. Note: The Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Conleys are: Jesse Cooper Conley and Lizzie Parlow Conley.
