Claiborne County Pioneer Project
is a private endeavor to record the
genealogy of the residents of Claiborne County, Tennessee prior to 1910.
Over 82,000 individuals ("Index Last Updated 12/12/01") have been
documented as being born, lived or died in the county prior to 1910. A
current surname index is available for the asking by writing to Denny &
Marla Brubaker at [email protected].
Please request specific surnames.
In addition, complete/partial family histories can be transmitted as
GEDCOMs or simple word docs. The service is free for the asking on a
share/share basis. All sources are cited for further follow-up and
